Is the 4 year warranty from Ultimate Electronics worth $250?
I just bought a LN40A650 from Ultimate Electronics. An open box for $1259 and then paid $250 for the 4 year replacement warranty. I was thinking about canceling the warranty and getting my money back. Any advice?

I wouldn’t what happens if it breaks once in 4 years to fix it could be more than 250 dollars plus it could break even ore than that then again it might not break at all so you wasted your money I would keep he warranty it gives that warm cosy feeling inside to know that if it breaks it gets fixed for free

so i just quit best buy to be a manager at ultimate electronics?
Is that a dumb choice since best buy is doing better or is the better pay worth it? I am studying to be a teacher and its not going to be my career but ultimate offered me 10000 a year more then best buy would u take the offer

You should have bring the offer to your store’s GM and ask for a raise. If they really like you to stay in the company because you are valuable to them. If they don’t give you a raise and say “go ahead then” that means they are not worth it because they don’t treat you like a real person.
