Why is it that a supposed organization that claims to cover your purchase doesn’t do so when it comes to certain good?

I purchased an exercise DVD by a supposed “master” (of deceipt apparently) and sold what should have been an original (and I paid $20…) but ended up being a bootleg copy, and it doesn’t work (they couldn’t even do that right) but nothing I could do because I didn’t open it till a month or so later, past the 10 day return policy but still, someone making an 80 percent profit off of copying something over and over ought to be able to spend another $1 to mail me another copy…(for a .20 cent DVD that is)…but that is how greedy some people are.

I find it even more shady when a third party that supposedly ensures your purchase says “oops”, sorry that doesn’t fall under us…resolve it on your own. That’s very phone indeed….kind of like purchasing an insurance policy and discovering they conveniently left out a few details.
