Your Questions About Self Storage Facilities

Donna asks…

Are there any luggage self storage facilities in Bangkok?

Hi!

I’m going to BKK soon, but right after that I’m going to Indonesia for about 2 weeks. I need to store some luggage as I cant bring it with me to Indonesia. I dont need a lot of space, it just has to be safe and clean. I have a small bag and a suitcase that’s it. Any suggestions? I was looking to pay 400/500 bath for that.

thanks!

Dear Traveler,

I know that if you are considering passing Phuket on your way to Indonesia there is a brand new Self Storage called MY STORAGE at Jungceylon Shopping Center in Patong.
Their units start at 1 m3 so suitable for left luggage and rental weekly or monthly. Right now they offer special opening promotion rates from 99 THB per month.
Check out web site at www.mystorageasia.com or call 076 292909.

Enjoy your trip.

George asks…

What kind of metal panels are inside those commercial self storage facilities (i.e. Public Storage, Westy’s)?

The metal panels that separate each unit in the interior? Does anyone know what kind they use?
And is it expensive?

richermo answers:

At public storage they use sheet metal
