I found a car on craigslist, but the seller wants to sell it through ebay motors. the car is in idaho. should i trust the seller or look for a new car?

Tough question. If the seller is specifying the only means of payment he’ll accept I would avoid it, especially if you have offered alternative means you trust. Surely this isn’t the only car you can find to meet you’re requirements.

Buyer beware. I bought my car off ebay and I’m very satisfied with it — but I went to see it before I started bidding on it. There is SO much that is under the surface that you need to look at, particularly vintage iron.
You need to be experienced in the cars your buying sight unseen so you can ask very pointed questions and talk over the phone. Those kind of people are unphased by the “2 good 2 be true”, they can weed out fact from fiction.

its a good way to sell one just make sure you wait till you get all your money before you give them the title and keys

You pay a flat fee of $125 plus any optional services you used.
