can I get my stuff back if it was auctioned at the storage company?

Auction
I was away for a family emergency. I called that I was going to pay and they informed me that it has been auctioned today. It has been there for three years. I have always payed. Makes me sick that they would auction it when they know I always pay. It was away for a cpl of months. I told him I can pay. I have the money. I have all my possessions. Pictures, paperwork, furniture. They said they mailed me a letter and it was sent bak. I told them how I am suppose to know. I never got the letter saying it was going to be auctioned. I even called when I was out of town to ask how much it was. I asked when I had to be in by. They said July 9 and now they deny it. Please tell me I can get my stuff back. It was done today and they said too bad..They can’t get it back.

Please help with some answers..

Nope, it’s gone. You didn’t hold up your end of the agreement, you didn’t pay on time, so they auctioned your stuff off. You agreed to that when you first signed up, so you should have made sure to pay.

It was auctioned. You can’t get it back. They can’t get it back. It’s gone. I’m sorry for you. Even if you have a family emergency you need to make sure to pay all of your obligations.
