   Auction Kings premiered about a week before Auction Hunters and Storage Wars premiered three weeks after Auction Hunters. Now I don’t watch or at least haven’t seen an episode of Auction Kings so I can only give you my opinion on the other two. First let me say I find these two shows, Auction Hunters and Storage Wars, very interesting. Maybe I am a little naive but I didn’t realize this stuff was going on and it amazes me that people have let their bills slide so much that their stuff is getting sold. Yeah the economy isn’t great right now but there is a lot of great stuff in these facilities that are now being taken by others for a couple hundred bucks. I prefer Auction Hunters, I like the “characters” Alan and Ton a lot more then the people from Storage Wars. I like seeing them shoot the guns and squeeze every penny they can out of the people they are selling the stuff to. Storage Wars is pretty cool though, it’s a little more real then the other show is and you see a little different side of things because most of the Storage Wars “characters” have their own thrift stores. It’s entertaining at least to me, I enjoy the shows overall and it’s been successful because at least Auction Hunters has already been picked up for a 20 episode second season. As for the rip-offs well that’s just how it is now, not many people have an original thought in their head so they take other peoples ideas and these shows are modeled a little after Pawn Stars so there isn’t much originality in the 3 shows in question. That’s why we are seeing so many remakes of movies and TV shows, not a lot of people can think for themselves…………………………

   I like Storage Wars too.
