Silent auction help and HD TV prices (approx.)?
Our church is doing a silent auction and I was hoping that people could help me out here they are getting and HD TV donated (they don’t know the make or size) and I was wondering if there are any strategies to increase my chances of getting it (I don’t mean to sound greedy but the only way I can get one is if its really cheap) one way I herd was if you stand close to the list less people will bid is this true (any other ways you know will also help)?
One more thing I know that the price of HD TV varies by size and make but if you could just give like the average for each size (or a couple of sizes) that would be great and for each size how much should I bid (max)?

Since it’s a big ticket item and will likely attract a lot of attention, hanging around the list won’t help you at all. The best you can probably do is keep circulating by the list at regular intervals and out bid the others.
Remember the tenets of your church during this. If you’re Christian, would your attitude and actions be pleasing to God or Jesus? That may help you with perspective as you chase this worldly item.
